SS Associates Coimbatore moves with fully automatic Accu-Speed

After successfully exploiting Grafica's 20” x 30” Cam-Shell to its fullest potential, Coimbatore based printing house S.S. Associates recently deployed Grafica's 30” x 40” Accu- Speed, a fully automatic flat bed screen printing machine along with inline UV curing/Jet Air combo unit to print on rigid and semi rigid substrates with consistent speed and quality. This not only reflects company's trust in Grafica but also proves its capability to explore screen printing process to produce advertising materials.

This acquisition was the outcome of a determined thought expressed by three entrepreneurs Mr. K. Sathyanarayanan, A.Shameer Ahamed and U.Kumaravel, partners of S.S. Associates. In a previous interview to GraficaNews they had said: “May be after gaining some more experience in this field (we are hardly two years in automated screen printing). We may also think of expanding our activities to the entire Tamil Nadu”. This is indeed a great conversion of their determined thought into a powerful action. Here are some more 'sound bites' from a joint interview with Mr. Sathyanarayanan and Shameer Ahamed:

Why fully automatic Accu- Speed with inline UV Curing system?

Accu-Speed is capable of delivering faster output with consistent production and quality on rigid and semi rigid substrates. This saves lot of space.

Why did you choose Grafica again?

We have had a very cordial business relationship with them; they have been very cooperative with excellent support and technical backup.

What did you like the most in Accu-Speed?

It’s capability to print semi-rigid to rigid substrates with consistent print quality. It is a sturdy machine.

Full story on

S.S. Associates has been in the printing business for over 10 years. They started with manual screen printing and continued till 2007. Later, Sathyanarayanan and Shameer Ahamed discovered the great potential of screen printing after seeing a live demo of Grafica's Cam-Shell at an exhibition.

The company is one of the rare printers having a combination of offset and in-house screen printing unit. Currently they are catering to many corporate clients, dealers, small and big vendors and are engaged into various fields e.g. stickers, indoor and outdoor advertising and promotional material on rigid board (sunboard) and flute board (sunpack). “We cater to steel, food, telecommunication, textile and garments sectors.” says Shameer Ahamed.
