Studio Digital makes rapid progress in screen printing

Jayanto Ghosh, Director of Studio Digital Pvt. Ltd., New Delhi, who was once fond of digital printing, now finds big moolah in advanced screen printing. Recently he has acquired one more 30” x 40” Cam-Shell Semi- Automatic Screen Printing Machine after tasting success from the first machine installed in June 2010 along with complete screen making set up and UV dryer. This is not only the reflection of his faith in brand Grafica but also the deep realization of the power of screen printing process.

“I had only two options either Grafica or to import the machines. While evaluating I received a market feedback that both the machines were equally good in terms of performance. But Grafica scored highest mark in terms of reliable service and pricing. I also found the foreign company had no proper service back up in place.” says Jayanto.

“Today, I am fully satisfied with Grafica's excellent after sales service and technical support. And to say the least, their first machine is excellent and working without any trouble and that's reason why we acquired one more machine from Grafica.”

Studio Digital caters to telecom, tobacco, liquor, banking and insurance – all are lucrative service sectors – for their indoor/outdoor advertising requirements such as POP/POS, 100% screen printed mostly on acrylic and vinyl substrates. “Now the trend is changing, clients want more durability and outdoor life of advertising materials printed on vinyl and acrylic. We found that screen printing with UV is the best option to meet such quality demand of print buyers.”

“Our decision to shift from digital to screen is paying us back; we are now getting more business. Customers now prefer superior quality screen printed stuffs than the digital prints,” says Jayanto whose better half Navreet Gosh looks after customer service and finance.
