Screen and Digital printing can co-exist under one shop-floor!

Vijetha Digital diversifies into graphics screen printing

As the name suggests, Hyderabadbased Vijetha Digital, a digital print solution provider with four digital presses, has recently invested in Grafica’s Nano-Premier League plus (NPL plus) to offer graphics screen printing.

Few months ago, the company had relocated its two separate digital (1200 sq.ft) and screen printing (1500 sq.ft) units to a new 3000 sq.ft facility for all operational convenience.

Vijetha Digital supplies outdoor display boards screen printed on rigid substrates such as fluteboard (sunpack), sunboard, acrylic, etc.

These are supplied to wide spectrum of customers: educational sectors (schools, educational and training institutes, computer and tuition classes, universities, etc); agro sector (seed, pesticides, and fertilizers companies) for their rural campaigns; construction sector (real estate and cement companies); medical sector (dental, skin, eye care clinics); mobile companies, among many other customers all over India.

“Most of these customers are already our existing customers for digital printing service,” says Krishnam Raju, proprietor of Vijetha Digital, who has been running his digital printing business since last 7 years besides over 25 years’ presence in printing industry. “Even we have exported our prints to USA,” he asserts.

The company offers eco solvent and flex-prints, stationery items, wide range of advertising display boards on rigid substrates, cloth banners, backlit/frontlit, canvas printing, and many other indoor/outdoor print jobs. “The idea to diversify into screen printing struck me when I saw striking samples of multi colour graphics screen printing at Grafica’s stall in an exhibition.

Later, I also visited DMI, there I saw some more samples and Grafica’s team performed trials of halftone printing on sunpack and sunboard right in front me. Then and there, I was fully convinced about the lucrative graphics screen printing leading to purchase of Grafica’s NPL plus system,” recalls Krishnam Raju.

“I feel having a screen printing set up is an added advantage. As digital print solution providers we can undertake those jobs which cannot be printed by digital or offset process,” he concludes.
