Thanusri Labels, Tirupur, is all set to move to its new 6000 sq.ft new factory on 21st August 2015. This is as part of their diversification plan into direct-to-garment screen printing and expansion of their existing heat transfer printing business.

“The demand for heat transfer is growing. We started our heat transfer printing business in 2006 at an 1800 sq.ft rented place, with one Grafica screen printing machine. Later we added one more machine. With our own new production facility where we would be adding few more machines, our heat transfer printing capacity will go up to 10 lakh pieces per day by 2016 (depending on no. of colours and size) from the current capacity of from 4 lakh pieces per day,” informs B. Ganesh Kumar, one of the partners of Thanusri Labels, adding, “we would be soon diversifying into direct to garment screen printing as there is ample scope in Tirupur. Surely, our choice would be Grafica's nanoprinTex.”

Thanusri Labels produces multi colour heat transfer labels and stickers, right from 1 to 25 colours. Their product portfolio include: neck labels, chest print, Foil, Photo print, Glitter print, etc for kids'/men's/women's wear. The company claims to be an authorized vendor for many leading brands/exported oriented units in Tirupur, Ahmedabad, Mumbai, Kolkata, Bengaluru. “The world 'quality' has become a cliché these days. But when it comes to multi colour heat transfers, it's not that easy to achieve quality. Customers expect sharpness and registration accuracy in print that is achievable with Grafica's high performance, trouble free / maintenance-free semi automatic screen printing machines,” he concludes.
