R.V.R. Bags bags huge orders for non-woven bags after automation

Erode based R.V.R. Bags has adopted automation by investing in Grafica's Nano-Print plus along with Nano-Screen Maker 5-in-1 to speed up production and improve quality of print. “By and large bag printing involves text, outlines, logos, sketches, etc, hence achieving sharpness was not possible on manual screen printing,” says R. Vadivel, proprietor of the company.

What's in R.V.R. Bags? Cloth bags : Wedding bags, temple bags, customized and compliment bags

Non-woven bags : Shopping carry bags, complimentary bags, promotional and branding bags

Rexine bags : Complimentary bags, cash bags, jewelry bags.

These bags are offered in sizes of 12” x 14” (min) and 14” x 18” (max), involving both screen printing (80%) and multi colour offset printing (20%). The company's has customer base in many cities such as Chennai, Trichy, Madurai (in Tamil Nadu), and Mysore, Hassan, etc (in Karnataka). “We make about 3000 bags per day, but against order only,” says Vadivel. “We supply bags to jewellery shops, educational institutions, temples, weddings, corporate (for branding / promotion purpose),” he adds.

Interestingly, R.V.R. Bags is an allwomen bag manufacturing company. Their 3000 sq. ft production facility at Erode has cutting and stitching facilities.

“A industry friend of mine in Madurai recommended me to buy Grafica's machine. Now I feel proud and happy that his recommendation turned out to be beneficial,” adds Vadivel who had attended DMI's workshop to sharpen the knowledge in screen printing and to understand the benefits of automation.
