With nano-prinTex Shree Fab Solution undertakes fabulous DTG screen printing on jobwork

With the installation of nanoprinTex, Howrah based Shree Fab Solutions has now ventured into direct to garment screen printing business on job work basis. The company was earlier engaged in fabric business. “We developed appetite for DTG screen printing service as a profitable business as we have wide contacts in the garment industry,“ asserts Rakesh Jhawar, one of the directors of Shree Fab Solutions.

The company has been in the garment industry for over 22 years. They still run a dying and knitting unit in Howrah. “Our focus is completely on DTG screen printing service on job work basis. Some of our customers had to send fabric after cutting to Mumbai to get it printed and bring back. Imagine, it was huge expense and waste of time. Thus we are now providing them cost effective printing service locally,“ says Rakesh.

His views about nano-prinTex:

“During an exhibition in Kolkata I witnessed amazing performance of nano-prinTex which was running noise-free as there was no compressor. Although I had seen other imported pneumatic/ compressor aided machine, we preferred a compressor-free nanoprinTex. We had bad experience of using compressor in our other factory. It used to be a complicated affair. There used to be problems always associated with compressor,“ says Rakesh

“Customers these days expect quality prints with competitive price and tighter delivery schedules. So, to offer quality print we certainly needed a trouble free machine that can deliver quality prints. And our choice was nanoprinTex,“ he adds.

Besides nano-prinTex, their new 10000 sq.ft DTG screen printing unit also houses glass top manual screen printing tables set up with automated drying system. In all they can print and deliver huge quantity per day, with lot of value additions. The company caters to both export (35%) and local market (65%).

“Certain jobs such as kids wear for new born babies upto 1 year old, requiring simple cut colour jobs, are being printed on manual table,“ avers Rakesh, adding, “On the other hand, Grafica′s automatic machine is used to print photo realistic designs, and complicated design jobs, multi colour jobs with graphic elements.“

In his opinion, although DTG screen printing on an automatic machine looks easy, it is not so. “There are many parameters that need to be technically understood /to be followed especially in design stage, pre press, screen making, etc. Once we accomplish these tasks with accuracy, then of course, printing is easy and we can avoid rejections and wastage to a greater degree,“ he asserts.

Giving full credit to Grafica′s educational efforts through their DMI institute, he says, “We have received training and technical support from DMI.“
