Women who are part of family print business
Indirani S, ASA Screens, Hosur, Tamil Nadu
I joined my family business to shoulder my husband's (Mr. Semban) responsibilities of two businesses – commercial printing (offset and screen printing). Now I am managing the entire screen printing business while my husband takes care of other business.
Established in 1996, our company - ASA Screens is a sister concern of National Printers. My company undertakes screen printing of Wedding cards, non-woven bags, stickers and labels, stationery, value addition. With advanced screen printing, we offer value addition on wedding cards, etc. With value addition we can give uniqueness to each job. Even a simple visiting card is now required to be printed differently with one or two special effects.
An empowered woman is one who has education, right learning and capable of self earning without having to depend on others in the family. I believe, with the advent of new technologies more and more women can enter into screen printing field since the modern day machinery are easy to operate.
